To start off I'm not looking for sympathy or encouragement. I've been in this situation for 3 weeks and from what I can tell no one aside from some close friends know, and I intend to keep it that way.

I'm homeless and living out of my car. I was kicked out of my last home right after purchasing my vehicle after a couple months of being unable to find a better paying job than fast food to pay rent. I moved all my belongings into a cheap storage unit and carry what I deem essential with me in my vehicle. After packing up I "moved" to the next city which is considerably bigger and has a better local economy. I started a job as a server but haven't seen much money from it yet. I chose this job for the instant gratification in earnings so I can afford food, gas, and tobacco (Yes, I will quit, my intake is slowed considerably). I got a membership at planet fitness so I can keep up on my physique and have a place to shower.

I'm seeking advice for two categories: Finances, and Sales.

Financially I'm obviously in the shit right now, but I'm looking for advice on how to budget and save. Aside from my car insurance, gas, and food I don't have many expenses. I'm looking the best way I can save or invest my money for my future.

I'm interested in sales work, but I have no clue on where to start and no pre-existing connections. What is an entry level sales job, and what advice do you have for improving the quality of my interactions with clients. This information would be beneficial for my serving job as well.

Any off-handed advice is appreciated, but my primary focus is on my two points. I'm not depressed or antisocial and have no worry of ever becoming so.
