She asked if I would meet her when she comes back in town later. I responded that I have had some flu symptoms so I set up a date for another day that she accepted. I could tell by the tone that she wasn't happy about my counter offer and she hinted that its no fun to walk home alone..Now normally I'd say this is where she wants some comfort but If I give it to her when plans are already made for later I would step into her frame. Is it wise to ignore her in a situation like this?
