Since I labeled you as a man's man, is there potentially a way to build up your social circle from this perspective (trade school, networking, the gym, etc)? If that is in place, the women might come into the picture later. Also, that bar of yours - is that the only bar out there? Maybe, just maybe, it may be time to change scenery.
Regarding your so-called boring hobbies (Abstract artist, designing tracks or maps for old games), are you sure they are boring indeed? Seems to me they could be leveraged. That is, how is your free time? Are there nerd-ish conventions to go to (with nerd chicks in mind)? Can you, say, open up a class and teach that shit to artsy women?

sounds like the biggest problem is living in a shitty area. like trying to win the lottery but limiting yourself to choosing only half the available numbers. quit wasting your money at bars full of idiots, they're a honeytrap designed to extract as much money as possible from the 80%. keep working out. changes feel uncomfortable, but it's the most uncomfortable changes that will always help you the most in the long run.

also it sounds like from the title you don't place much value on yourself. MMA and self defense will help big time with self confidence probably more than anything else. It gives you a primal killer instinct edge just keep your ego in check. As with everything you need balance. Just because you don't have money doesn't make you low value. Maybe in the eyes of some gold digging whore low value women but why would you want to fuck them anyway? I know plenty of guys who are broke as fuck and they get a lot of pussy. You can learn social skills and practice going out and doing pickup or whatever but i think if your mission is just to get laid then thats retarded. Have a better mission like training to compete in a muy thai smoker. Aim for something like that, by the time it comes around you will be a vastly different person.

Same problem a friend of mine has. He lives in a shitty area with no where for adults to really go and socialize. If he wants to go out it’s like a 40 min drive to the city. Want to increase your chance with bitches? Then you need to go where the bitches are. Personally I’d say don’t worry about it and finish school then move to a area with more potential.

Start training MMA, when you finish school move to a new city. Don't focus on trying to get a girlfriend. If you make some friends at the boxing gym or whatever start hanging out with them. Read more. fuck going to the bar and wasting money on overpriced drinks and attention from people who don't give a fuck about you. Just grind until you can get out of there. My opinion. Also you could get a camera and start making rap videos or something, networking with musicians/rappers opens a lot of doors and pays well if you get good.
