There is a girl I used to work with awhile ago, we haven't talked in years. Yesterday she randomly liked my profile picture on Facebook that I haven't changed in a year and a half. I figured this was her way of saying what's up.

So I messaged her and said hey long time no talk, how have things been. She said terrible, me and Nick broke up. I said that's a bummer. We're celebrating my bday tomorrow, stop by and have a good time.

She said that would be awesome. Can we be friends bc I don't have any single friends. Gives me her phone number. Everyone is married with kids so I don't have any one to go out with.

I said perfect, a lot of my friends are married too. We'll go out and have a good time. You'll be my hot date. I'll text you tomorrow.

She said perfect!

I had a few drinks last night. Looking back I should probably hang out with her a different day. A chill day where we are one on one and not my bday with everyone around and I'm sloppy drunk.

Should I tell her we'll hang out Sunday instead? And if so how would I go about that, what would I say when I text her? I was thinking something like hey, let's hang out Sunday instead of tonight. We haven't talked in a while, would probably be best that I'm not black out drunk
