Basically I'm lost. I need a skill. I've got a degree that isn't worth shit (arts) and I'm afraid of what's coming after graduation. I spent years arguing with my parents over this degree but they're old school in the sense that they think a degree = success. I on the other hand know how useless it is. I could use suggestions on what skills to pursue before I end up homeless with my arts degree for kindling.

Edit- I've realized many of the responders have confused arts with art. To be clear I am graduating with an arts degree maj. economics; min. poli sci. I'm not artistically inclined, leaning instead towards critical thinking and situational analysis. I'm hoping that someone can point me in the direction of skills I can accumulate that would build on these inclinations and which I can actively nurture.
