Just turned 18, am starting uni in September. Started a less than legal business early this year and really hit success over the summer, right now I have about £10,000 in cash after investing some on shit to up my status like high value clothes, putting money away for my first car and getting myself out there to expand my network, etc etc.

With the money I have and will continue to make, I can go through college and get out the other side without having worked shitty min wage jobs and drowning in debt. I have some questions for the older RPers:

What are wise things to invest in for later years? Stocks? Bank?

How do you strive towards being self employed from early on?

Other than lift, what if anything can I start now to ensure my SMV stays high and improves over the years?

Is it in general a bad idea to not look for a job right out of college and spend about 6 months travelling, partying etc? Or should I look to become employed right away? Or even look to start a business (even a side business) myself right away?
