I'm almost perfectly content with what I have become, or rather of where I'm going. It's been almost a year from the time I realised, that my relationship wouldn't last much longer. I decided to hit the gym. Started reading TRP daily. Continued to play the guitar. Started a second band to learn to play drums. Started learning a foreign language. Stopped getting better at things I was already good at (could be a mistake, but I chose to focus on getting stronger at the gym and had to prepare food, which took me a lot of time). Getting better didn't go as smoothly as I planned (because of trying to incorporate a lot of new habits at once), but the most important change was happening. I changed the way I thought about almost everything around me.

What has been bugging me is a feeling, that I should go out and approach women. I don't want to. I know I don't need women now. I can't think of anything that I would like to have a woman besides sex. And I don't even want sex now. It seems like too much of a hassle to try to go out and get it. I even almost stopped masturbating. I'd rather sleep, because I'm so tired from all the stuff I do. I'd much rather squeeze in another gym session or band rehearsal, than go out and talk to people I don't know. I understand that it's a vital skill for self development, but I feel like it's not the time to acquire it. I don't have problems with asking random people about things (when our band was looking for a bassist, I sometimes asked people if they maybe were playing bass and wanted to join a band).

Right now I feel like it's much more important to get to the 1000 pounds club and become fluent in the foreign language than anything else. I think pursuing girls would hinder my progress. It sounds like hamstering on my part, but correct me if I'm wrong.
