So I started college 2 years ago and don't live with my parents anymore. My parents divorced when I was 5 because my dad cheated on my mom. I guess it was just an excuse for her to take half of his money and child support cause as far as I know he cheated in the past as well (before I was born) and she accepted it. (probably he started making more money and giving her less attention and she was jealous) My dad is pretty red pill, he takes shit from nobody but is not a smartass and knows when to shut up (like don't be a smartass confronting your boss, you will lose your job) and when I was young I always hated the fact that I had to live with her since I had a much better relationship with my dad and she always wanted a puppy son: do well in school, and do everything I ask you to. And she would always say "I do everything around here" like yeah sure who pays child support as well ? She's also very religious and got mad cause I didn't want to go to church with her and believe in all that nonsense. But since I moved to college basically everytime we talked it ended being a fight saying "you're an asshole like your dad bla bla bla" and I always hang up the phone but a couple of days later she calls, just to start a fight all over again. It's so fucking frustrating because people and morals are telling me to talk to her because it's my mother, but I would be completely fine without speaking to her ever again. Since I was born she never gave me a damn compliment, always played the victim, always wanted a puppy to do everything she asks me to and just keep my mouth shut. Basically she wanted to turn me in the most blue pill man ever, which she couldn't, and probably got mad cause she tried the same shit with my dad and didn't work out. So how is this going to affect my adult life ? I know girls with daddy issues are kinda fucked up, but what about guys with mommy issues ?
