I'm having trouble figuring out this stuff and I would appreciate if someone helps me

First of all I'm focusing on improving SMV/meeting women i.e. overall sexual strategy. No BS advices ("do what you luv dude lmao") be brutally logical and honest please.

So I want to join a sports team in my Uni for social purpose(My social life at my University is non-existant, although I have few friends outside of it, all of them are moving out/getting jobs plus I'm spending more time at the University lately thus I'm starting to feel I need to build some social group there, I commute FYI) and also to exercise and having fun overall.

By being your average Beta in my teenagerhood due mainly to video game addiction I am "left behind" in atletism.

I just recently joined a soccer team but I live in fucking BRAZIL where people play since they are like 4 years old (think about rugby in Australia). Summing up with what I said in the line above I'm very bad compared to people, like fucking bottom 5%. I'm conjecturing that it will ACTUALLY damage my social life/SMV by being low value, where low value in this scenario means having low skill. I'll never be able to compete and have high SMV in this sphere thus just "catching up" eternally. Perhaps I'm being paranoid but I felt even "disrespected" when playing last week. Also, there are no women exposure in this sport, only if I play intramural championship or something to get exposure to women.

On the other hand there is the possibility of playing frisbee/tennis and other sports which I may have better chances...

Why am I focusing so much in the social/smv aspect? Because I am a CS major and have literally no contact with females at all. Plus I'm a virgin and this shit is fucking with me mentally.

My questions are :

  • 1- Am I overthinking this shit?
  • 2- Does being bad at something actually LOWERS your value?
  • 3- Is being good/elite fundamental to enjoy perceived social "points", that is: being elite in a smaller sport >> being average/bad in a bigger sport (the fish and pond metaphor) real?

That's all thanks for reading!
