Unfortunately, I have contracted a serious case of oneitis. I started talking to someone over the summer session at University, but right as things started to heat up she ended up leaving because classes ended. We have remained in contact over the month and a half since she has been gone, and are meeting up this Friday. I see some serious LTR potential because I effectively used RP to build up my SMV with her- however, I feel as if I'm reverting back to my old blue pill ways in regards to how we communicate and how I'm treating other women because I am "waiting for her to come back next semester".

I'm falling too hard and I would like to place an emphasis on improving myself rather than sitting by my phone waiting to talk to her. I've started teaching myself to cook, and have been working out. These two go hand in hand in establishing a healthier diet so not only will I gain new hobbies, but I'll increase my SMV as well.

Am I over-thinking this? What other long-term life skills can I work on so I'm not caught up thinking about her, and instead improve myself?

Edit: Forgot to mention on top of this I'm working full time in conjunction with taking classes. Nonetheless, there is always spare time to be devoted towards bettering myself.
