In LTR for half a year with HB9 from uni. We are halfway across US from each other during summer and busy, so we won’t see each other until August. The first month of the LDR has gone ok, we snap every day and call every 2 or 3 days. Going from sex multiple times a week to a month of absistence has been really hard.
I really like my gf and she hasn’t done anything wrong, we just aren’t able to be close for this summer. She is smart, equal libido to myself, and funny. I’ve never felt such strong mutual attraction before.
I don’t want to cheat. I feel that is morally incorrect even though TRP is amoral. The girls in my summer classes are overtly flirty with me and I haven’t mentioned I have a gf yet, but they might try to escalate on me.
She went out partying/drinking tonight with her friends and sent snaps every 20-30 min or so. She is loyal, and I know her friends. They are college girls so they aren’t angels, but it is a well-behaved bunch as far as they go. I don’t think it is reasonable to ban her from going out and being social for the entire summer while we are apart, but I know that if girls are hitting on me, then guys must be trying to make moves on her. I do not think that she would cheat (says every guy in a LDR/LTR). As I said above, we still communicate regularly. She tells me she misses me/wants me daily.
I am at a loss of what to do. I feel like breaking up with a great girl who has been nothing less than a great LTR is a mistake. I cannot morally allow myself to cheat on her behind her back and stay in the relationship. I would try to open the relationship, but it would have to only be open on my end. I think that would be pretty selfish and toxic to the relationship. Mentioning it would also have to be handled with absolute care so as not to just blow up the whole relationship.
What dost the pill think I should do? Any advice or opinions?
