I am an extremely concerned 18 year old. In my short time on this Earth, I'm not only witnessing the decline of civilization, but I'm also seeing the collapse of the U.S. Dollar, the rise of feminism, and the decline of morals and principles in our society. I understand that it is all the cause of societal engineering, but it is still hard to digest the greed of the elite few. I feel that this is the only place I have to turn, other than my grandfather, as you all are at least enlightened to the feminism aspect of social engineering. This is the only place left where the reals come before the feels, that I am aware of. Everywhere I look around me I see my peers becoming content and placid, accepting what is spoon-fed to them, and nothing more. They're all concerned with superficial news stories, trans rights, and government-controlled racial tension instead of focusing on real problems, such as the fact we are on the brink of collapse, terrorism, and international warfare. Normally, I would be able to have this discussion with my family, but since I am also seeing the demolition of the family unit, that's hard to do. My younger brothers are all absorbed in technology, and I can see the brainwashing happening. I'd like to believe I'm just a paranoid individual, for their sake, but there is too much interconnection and "coincidence" between world events transpiring for me to believe that, myself. I honestly feel like I'm venting at this point, but I don't know what else to do. I feel as if I've been lied to by the government my entire life and the 13 years of schooling that I've been led to believe were for my benefit, turned out to be brainwashing and lies. I understand I just have to enjoy the decline of society, but it's kind of hard for me to do when the futures of my future children are at stake, and the next 100 years will make or break the human race. Can anybody alleviate my fears or at least help me deal with them? I'll probably get some "suck it up, life sucks" remarks, but there has to be more to it than that. It's a hard pill to swallow.
