So I am 18 and still living at home with mum and dad literally finished school yesterday. I've found out that the school is selling one of their buses for $7000 which I have done the research and thats a fucking bargain. I want to buy it; I have enough savings, and then resell it hopefully for slightly under market price so about between 10-15k. Problem is I reckon dad wants to buy it but if he doesn't, he doesn't want me to buy it but I want to have a crack at taking a risk and maybe making some good cash.

I need some advice on how to deal with this situation, and some advice on whether its a good idea. Keeping in mind I haven't got a large vehicle licence or a manual licence but I might be able to keep it on a mates farm if I can figure out a way to get it there. Plus my dad is a very successful business man and I reckon though he's not for the idea of me buying it he would be impressed if I could pull it off as a little business venture.
