It is a fairly written piece, and it does cover the basics:

  • The higher your SMV, the less shit you'll have to deal with, generally speaking
  • Women date up; for a man to stay sane, he should pick a girl of lower SMV than his own
  • Some men like the drama of high SMV girl, some of them don't

Personally, I don't like the drama. Also, I'm wondering whether I can train a woman to be low-maintenance by presenting myself differently than the next guy. I mean, there are lots of them poor suckers who bring them grrls bouquets of flowers (preferably a 12-pack), serve, and obey. The thirst is real.

Come to think of it, this young fellow of a cousin of mine, he took a girl on a date. Boat trip, posh beverages, expensive dinner... and guess who paid for all that shit? Yep. And he's not some high earner either (a college dude with a part-time job). This contrasts with the idea of being a skittles man.

Skittles man is nice; however, I'm interested in pushing the envelope a bit further. I guess that starting slow might be the key, as this could blow up in my face - as this kind of goes against Briffault's law. However, creating a sunken cost fallacy on the girls side might play in for my favor. In any case, I'm thinking of:

  • "Forgetting" my wallet home on a coffee date
  • Making her fetch me things (a glass of water, a piece of clothing I tossed aside, etc.)
  • Telling her to buy me a drink
  • Inviting her for a cheap lunch; next time is a bit more expensive place - and it is on her, for equality's sake
  • Demanding that she should dress nice for an occasion
  • Determining what she is good at (vocational/ professional skill), and asking for favors there - provided it ties to the stuff I need done
  • Praising myself in front of her and acting a little narcissistic (I'm the prize, and then some)
  • Always keeping tabs and being a cheapskate

Any thoughts on how to do this? Provided this strategy is viable in the first place...
