First post here.

I'm 25 and I live in France, here there are broadly 3 types of men. The random beta, the alpha-beta who took a reputational/traditional path in life (hard work highschool time with no or few sociability, reputable schools into great paying job with the hope to live a somehow safe life and thus realizing the bourgeoisie myth) and the alpha who answers mainly to himself with no intention to be molded by any higher power into a form of contemporary slavery.

As a sociable alpha from highschool, I have many friends including alpha-betas who did the best schools in the country and have now highly qualified and highly paid jobs. I did not have much luck in life, the path I took granted me 2 things : being poor and being smart/analytically lucid, but I am doing fine now, I am in a Master of Philosophy of Logic and Mathematics, involved in software eng. and web. dev. monetizable projects, I workout and practice MMA 3 times a week.

What is peculiar about the alpha-betas is that they were rejects in highschool, mainly nerds and ugly teenagers, even bullied from time to time, who grew their hate of stronger men in silence, and grinded to what they consider being the top (which is entirely fine btw). Moreover, they are used to the politically correct and thus they will never engage directly in any open conflict.

Now the issue is the alpha-betas I consider to be my friends show some obvious jealousy at the moment I talk about genuine good things in my life (msc opportunities), which they also do and which is normal between stable men wanting to develop themselves by helping their friends, (banters taken aside) without me being jealous of paths I did not and do not want to take.

Do you have behavioral advice on this matter ? How do you understand the situation ?
