I had been seeing this girl for about a month who was just out of a long term relationship (and still living with the ex). It seemed quite casual, we were both on tinder, but I was developing feelings. We had sex on the second date and on the third date she asked if I had had sex with anyone since her. I said yes, as this was the case. From the start she would talk about other guys, which didn’t bother me as I was also focused on other girls, but I didn’t bring them up to her. As time went on I obviously didn’t like her talking about other guys, but I always tried to brush it off and act disinterested or like I didn’t care.

One day we were chatting and she had gone out the night before so I asked what she had got up to. She said dinner then ice cream so responded with “cute”. I then told her what I had got up to the night before as I had gone out with a girl too, I didn’t mention the girl though.

I was put off by this and questioned whether I wanted to keep seeing her, although I know she was suggesting what he said was weird. I also thought she may have been testing me so I gave a disinterested answer. Put off by her behaviour I also acted distant via messenger that night.

Did she shit test me and did I fail? A few days after this her interest seemed to wane.
