Background :

There was this girl at the library the other day that was giving me heavy IOIs (proximity, strong eye contact, she even opened me). I was focused on my work and didn't bother. When I was done working I said to myself fuck it and spoke to her while she was leaving. She was a bit bitchy. My theory is that she was taken aback by my approach (she didn't really expect me to make a move or thought I was uninterested) either that or she was nervous. Or I could have read everything wrong who knows. Do women use bitchiness as a shield when they feel nervous around guys they want to fuck ? Maybe to play hard to get ?
