Quick background: have taken this chick out 4 times started to bang on the second date. She makes a lot of sly comments & my gut tells me it’s her covertly expressing feelings for me. She will say things like...

-“You’re an asshole but it’s rewarding when you finally -open up”

-“I hate that I like hanging with you, it’s annoying”

-“You’re actually cool & it’s annoying”

-“I only feel safe with you”

-“You never compliment me”

She literally makes a point to hold compliments back. Which is hilarious. Ex: Post sex she’ll say something under her breath repeatedly. When I ask what’s she was saying she’ll say “Nothing, I don’t want to boost your ego”.... to which I respond “then don’t”. Also, note she is a rape victim. Not sure if that plays a role but with what’s going on here. I’m aware of being called an “asshole” is one of the sweetest things women could call a RP man. But is she trying to steer the FWB towards something more serious covertly? What’s going on here?
