my definition is the following: courage is the ability to take calculated risks accepting that you can fail, but not being fazed by it, because you are persistent, and at the end you'll get your way.

e.g. I am not 100% ready to ask the girl out, I am just 70%, but I have the confidence that I can get to 100% on the way.
