So a few days ago I went and saw a movie with a girl I've been talking to (briefly and for logistics/rapport only, didn't send much back in response to her texts) since summer began.

Some background on this girl: I had talked to her and gone out with her previously in 2014 before I knew anything about seddit/manosphere, I was a very weak version of myself, mentally and physically. There was attraction but I didn't take any advantage of it. I moved on to other women and improving myself. She initiated conversations with me a few times afterwards, the most recent being this summer which was when I decided I wanted to go somewhere with her again and see what I could do this time around.

The word date was never used in arranging this, nor was the word friend or anything like that. So my first question, was it more of a date, or just friends hanging out?

The Movie: When I saw her we exchanged hugs like usual and talked until the movie started. It wasn't very flirty but there were no silences and we were clearly interested in each other. When the movie started I put my arm around her. In response she moved up closer to me and didn't do anything else. When it ended we sat there and talked for a bit with my arm still around her, then I took my arm off and got up and she followed. We talked more after but I didn't know what else to do for further escalation so I just hugged her goodbye when she had to leave. She texted me after and said that it was good seeing me with a "!!". I said you too and lets do something again when you're back in [city]. No reply. It's a few days later and I've been talking to other girls and ignoring her posts on social media, she's viewed my stuff on snap though.

Anyway, I don't know if she's into me or if/when/how I should text her again. I'm pursuing other girls but I'd like another date with her to get a kiss and maybe go further. Thanks guys. Love the sub. I posted this on askseddit but I thought I would ask here because I read both subs. I wouldn't call myself a PUA or anything but I do use some of the strategy.
