Going to try to keep this short. A little background, I'm a senior in college, and have been reading trp for a couple years now, I go home once or twice a month, and started hanging out with a family friend he's about 50, decent looking guy, not overweight with a shit haircut, just shy of 6 ft. He watches the house and dogs for us pretty regularly. Well call him billy. Billy bought his wife a store in the trendy part of town, it's losing money, he has a couple kids and is the only support his family has. His wife decides she's met a new soulmate, because billy is a slob and never wants to travel, and has no sense of adventure. She makes him move out, all he can afford is a shit apartment. The kicker is, he is still madly in love with her and really believes if he gives her enough time she will let him move back in and everything will be okay. Any ideas on how to nudge him in the right direction without being to overt and triggering his white knite reflex.
