• Scenario #1:
  • Meet a girl off Tinder
  • Build a little rapport over chat and get her number. We agree to meet for a date last Tuesday at a bar because we both like IPAs.
  • We meet up and the conversation is rolling along smoothly and the vibe I'm getting is that she likes me. Was getting a few IOIs throughout the night(smiling, laughing at things I said that weren't jokes/not funny, dilated pupils at certain points looking at me.)
  • We pay the check and walk out of the bar, and she starts telling me about a whiskey bar by her house. I say we should check it out sometime next week and she agrees.
  • I go in for the kiss and we start making out for a little bit.
  • We walk to my car and she goes in to kiss me and we're at it again
  • My initial vibe at the end of the date was that it went well and that we were bound for a date #2 where I could close.
  • I don't text her for 4-5 days after our date until Sunday and say," Hey had fun with you last week. Are we still on for this Tuesday?" I don't hear back anything. Called her up tonight around 7, goes to voicemail. So obviously that's not going anywhere.

  • Takeaway: My guess is she found some other dude with a higher SMV on Tinder who was showing her more interest or something. Maybe I should've texted her once or twice throughout the week to show slightly more interest? For some context, she is going back home to her hometown, in a different state, the next day after. We only had one date, and she doesn't get back until January 3rd. I told her on our date that I will be traveling to Europe for the first three weeks of January, so the best case scenario is that we wouldn't see each other again until the end of January. Maybe she feels that it isn't worth it? Not trying to hamster myself just rattling off some possible reasons.

  • Scenario #2:

  • Approached this cute girl. She shit test me in the beginning, saying she was too old for me -- she's 29 i'm 23 -- and I just laughed it off and pretty much ignored her shit tests and kept talking to her.

  • Sat down next to her and after maintaining frame and amused mastery one thing leads to another, we were making out 10 minutes later.

  • A good song comes on and I lead her out to the dancefloor. Get in the zone and I'm enjoying myself and so is she it's very obvious she is digging me. We stay for at least half an hour and I can tell she is really getting more into it with her dance moves.

  • Near the end of the night we leave the dancefloor and sit down at a table and things start to heat up -- we're all over each other.
  • Eventually, Her girlfriends come to our table and talk with her and she signals them that she is okay and that they can leave without her, or whatever the hell they talk about, they tell her to get home safe and then they leave the bar to get an Uber ride home.
  • Except one of her friends comes back and decides to stay at the bar, she wasn't cockblocking us or anything. -- She did her own thing talking to some other guy.
  • It is very obvious that the girl i'm with is really into me, based on the nonverbal and verbal cues she was giving me, so I ask her if she wants to get out of here and she just looks at me with bedroom eyes and nods her head. At this point, I am thinking I have it in the bag and this is probably where it goes down hill from here.

  • Here's where things go Down Hill:

  • This girl agreed to leave the bar with me at the end of night. My place was 40 minutes away, with a single bed in my room laying on the floor with no boxspring, so I asked if we could go back to her place. Her mother was there, so it was a no go. Offered to get us a room, and she gave me a look of disinterest that she was not about going to a hotel either. First time of the night I feel like I don't have a plan and wasn't able to think on my feet quick enough... I just.. blanked. She then takes my phone and gives me her number and says, " I want you to call me/text me." I'm a little bit disappointed, but I think to myself I can meet up later and close.

  • I go home and pass out. Wake up the next morning and texted her, "glad we met let's together again soon." She texts back 5 minutes later, "I'd like that."

  • I don't respond for 7-8 more hours because I was occupied in something else. I text back, "I have time on the 22nd, 24th, and 27th. Any of those days work for you?"

  • Girl: "24th?! Like Christmas Eve?!

  • Me: "Yeah oops slipped my mind"

  • (Texts me two hours later) Girl: "Do you work at _____?"

  • (Hour later) Me: "No, they're a bunch of hacks."

  • (No response) But then she adds me on SnapChat and I accept her request. My username has my last name in it, so I am thinking she used it to Facebook stalk me. My thinking is there might be something on my Facebook that's visible to the public that may not be flattering to me.

  • I'm thinking it may be pictures and statuses that friends posted on my timeline while I was battling cancer from December-September of this year. -- I was bald, had no eyebrows, was pale, gained a lot of weight from the steroids they gave me, etc. I don't think it gave me a good look. Fortunately, I am at the point where nobody has any idea that I use to have cancer.. Hair has grown back in -- and got a fade haircut, eyebrows grew back in, cut a ton of weight -- back to my old frame weight 6'4" 200.

  • Anyway, I've been ghosted once again. I don't care about losing these girls honestly. I want some feedback from the community even if it's brutal.
