Hi asktrp,

So I have a normal job, and a weekend job which I picked up to socialise more, as my main job is very isolated.

I'm not fussed about this job, it's minimum wage and just something to do on weekends.

So a load of new girls started a few weeks ago, and I've tried playing the 'rock' alpha male strategy with them. No validation, only talking about work and ignoring them.

They seem very nervous around me. Asif I was their boss. They can't hold eye contact and are quick to find something else to do other than be in my presence. Bare in mind these girls are all 18-20. Maybe they are genuinely nervous about being around a guy who pays them no attention.

Is this normal? I feel like I'd get a lot more attention from girls when I was the 'dancing monkey' even though it was probably just fake attention because I'd be giving them lots of validation.
