To get things started I'll outline some facts.

  • I am almost 20 and a bartender.

  • significantly bulked up with lifting

  • I have worked at the same place for close to 2 years. I was extremely quiet when I started, thanks to TRP I am outgoing, confident and hold conversation and frame easily.

When I first started working at this pub, I was shy and quiet and wanted to learn all the ropes to the job. I can easily tell you and know that I am very good at my job compared to my co-workers.

As with most pubs there are older men who are regulars. When I started they would 'shit-test' me, I would always pass easily and as time went by the regulars would seperate themselves into people who love me, and people who hate me.

The people who love me will shoot shit with me whilst I work for hours and the experience is fun for all involved. The 'haters' however will do anything to put me down, this started as shit tests but is now at the point where they will complain to my boss (not manager) who happens to be the best of buddies with them. They will pull stories out of their ass about how I speak to them and treat them.

This has led to a reduction in hours. Both of my managers and co-workers tell me I am good at my job, the boss will pick small things that normally wouldn't bother him with anyone else, and have a go at me.

How do I play this? Cheers, S
