Background: The girl is someone who I have been hooking up with for a few weeks. Admitted that she likes me.

Story: I made plans with the girl and she agreed happily. I called her up and told her to meet up at my place first to carpool and that I was currently running errands, getting stuff for what we were going to do. She said she had to drop something off at her dad's and was obviously excited. She got to her dad's and told me her mother was keeping her there to take care of her since her father wasn't home (not sure if the mother was sick or why she had to take care of her) and was waiting for him to arrive. I joked with her saying to tell her that her fish was drowning and she had to go and stuff like that to convince her to just leave. She said she couldn't until he got home. It was getting late and I decided to just stop replying to her. Last thing I texted her was asking where he was and then she replied.

She had a legitimate excuse for flaking on the "date" I had planned but I'm salty that I put about an hour of my own time and money to plan this and couldn't even get an apology. She's not one to double text a few hours later if I don't respond to her previous text.

Should I:

A) Continue texting like nothing happened and reschedule

B) Soft next until she texts me first

C) Let her know that I went out of my way to plan this and that I didn't like the fact she bailed and didn't apologize

D) Something else?

Any opinions on how I should handle this situation are appreciated.
