Go up to group, "you guys look fun," talk. Go up to group, "hey nice shirt! Where'd you get it?" Talk. Go up to group, "how do you know so and so?" Talk. Repeat that all night or until you find some cool people to spend the night hanging out with. Also, why don't you want to hookup with your date? This is the perfect opportunity to do so.
