Just had an amazing NYE. I had no prior pick-up experience, it was my first sarge, but I decided to put myself out there and go straight for goal.

I walk up to everyone, huge grin on my face, grab them by the waist, say happy new year, and kiss them on the cheek, they all love it. I do it to guys to! Everybody's laughing, not giving a fuck.

I go up to chicks and literally go full RSD: I'm completely in their space, taking over every inch of physical room they have, my arms around them, my face right up in theirs, and I talk calmly and confidently.

Here are some things I found myself doing (not pre-meditated) that I noticed working very well:

  • "Look at me when I'm talking to you", with fingers under chin

  • Shameless, boundaryless physicality. It's not creepy to walk up and hook girl's arms from behind, if you do it with confidence and with a big 'hi, who are you guys' at the same time

  • Loving everyone. If someone from a group of friends is being a bitch, turn to them and love them, shower them with your enthusiasm, and they melt in your fingers.

  • Having my attention clearly focused on a single person at a time. I could literally feel like everybody was following me and paying attention to the person I was talking to in the group. If I walked into a group and talked to one person with confidence, that person always responded warmly, and then everybody else in the group was thinking "why him? I wanna meet the new guy too! He's a hot topic right now!" You can't approach a group as if it were one big personality. You win people over one by one.

The results were incredible. I had women hotter than I could ever imagine talking to stopping dead in their tracks, doing that silly "Damn what's going on" giggle they do in all the RSD Videos. A beautiful cocktail waitress from a club next-door offered me her number out of the blue "OK you can have my number" without me asking. Maybe the fact that she was in a corner with my eyes a couple inches away from hers and my arms around her waist helped.

I was push-pulling without even trying, because of the initial attraction from just grabbing them and not giving a fuck. Literally 10 seconds after approaching, if we were facing each other, with her back to the direction she was going initially, I could keep facing her, but start taking steps back, and she would start going forwards towards me even though it was in the wrong direction.

I walk up to this girl and start kissing her within about 10 seconds, she's melting in my arms, and I hear this guy going "hey, hey" from behind. I stop kissing her, walk straight up to him, shake his hand, clasp him on the back and with a big smile go "sorry she's too cute I can't help it". The guy, presumably her boyfriend, instantly becomes super friendly.I

I learned that all the social conditioning that would lead me to expect specific types of reactions ("creep", "fuck off weirdo") was complete bullshit. I got some of those reactions, of course, but in the midst of all the positive ones I got, it seemed like they were the creeps, and a lot of the time I was able to convert them by not caring and showing undiminished enthusiasm to get to know them and touch them. "Come on, give me a smile, I know you can do it!"

All the obvious things to take away from this I've read countless times and most of them really boil down to "be confident and don't give too many fucks" anyway, but last night they felt real and tangible. I felt like I could see myself de-activating bitch mode on girls instantly, just by not giving a fuck and knowing they're putting on a stupid facade. I felt like everybody has this threshold for how enthusiastically they expected people to approach them. Everytime I approached someone and crossed that threshold, I was completely dominating the interaction, and they were happy that I was there talking to them.

Anyway, I feel like I understand what 'being in state' is now, and I hope I can do it again. I've literally never ever ever in my life been even close to this forward with anybody, and I think last night was a life changer.
