(This might be obvious to some of you but... I could have used it at some point. It might help someone be taken more seriously by girls so here it goes)
Assertiveness is a big part of masculinity, and being attractive to women. One of the worst personality flaws you can have for all this, is being a pushover. Being a perpetual victim, or a yes man, will not get you taken seriously by women. (or anyone really).
When I say assertive I don't mean being aggressive and macho. I just mean fully valuing your own ideas, feelings, thoughts, wants, and boundaries. Valuing them enough to enforce and express them. Enforce and express them with conviction, but also in a respectful manner.
Make sure, in a nice way, you tell people what you want, or if you're not satisfied. For example: if food is shit, tell the waiter there's something off about it, and tell them what to fix or what other item you want.
Don't be sold to super easily. There are people in a mall near me who are always asking people to sign up for a sweepstakes scam. To start, no one wants to sign up. They give a speech. And still no one REALLY wants to. And yet some people still do, as if just to appease them, when they know it's probably a scam. Don't be one of them. Just be the guy that says "no thank you" and moves on with your day.
Make a list of "red flag" behaviors. Things you won't tolerate from women at all. For me a few would be: Lying, disrespect of me or a friend of mine, flirting with other guys around me. Make a list for yourself. Don't make it too strict obviously, but make it strong enough come from and support your self respect. When you encounter any of the behaviors or acts you've written down, enforce and express. Calmly, but like you mean it, question it and express how you don't like it. If what you don't like continues... drop it. Don't put up with any bullshit you don't want to put up with, no matter how hot she is.
When you encounter a dumb or annoying trait or behavior from her, don't always think "seddit help..how do I get around this obstacle/shit test?". As you get a little more experience start to reframe it to yourself as "how much do I wanna deal with this?"
Body language will help you feel more assertive. Stand tall and strong. Walk straight and with purpose when you walk. When you make eye contact with a woman, don't flinch it away nervously.
Don't look like a pushover to women... Let your self respect guide you to value your ideas and feelings, let that lead you to standards...let that lead you to an aura of assertiveness.
