Clearly whining wasn't the intended goal. I was wondering whether or not to indeed be straightforward in getting it up to her, or be slightly more remorseful and let her have another date planned. Thanks anyway for your comment!

Being remorseful sounds like manipulation to me. Be straight forward and let her know how you feel. You're a man, start acting like one.
If it happened to me personally, i'd ditch her ass faster than her brain would take to comprehend that she got ditched. Don't let girls walk all over you.
