So I have a number and I am going to message this girl and was just curious as to the importance of actually calling over texting?

I don't know this girl well enough to have her answer my call so I will text first and then is it important to try and call and have a conversation later on? Would you call out of the blue or mention like "I will call you later tonight" sort of thing.

or...

Is it just not that important and texting is more than enough to get by until we meet again in person.
