Uggghhh - So....my experience in just attending these shows, the women get annoying and the guys get annoying....hell the whole thing is annoying.

If cosplay is involved and you are not going to a show in a city with a ton of hot women. You will just be looking at mediocre women who are appearing to be hotter than reality because they are in skimpy clothing.
You are dealing with a crowd in which social interaction is awkward as fuck anyway.
I don't classify myself as a nerd, nor do I look or act like a nerd. I found that super nerdy girls who are into comic-cons and such....typically want to deal with guys who fit that stereotype to some degree. If that is you, you might have some luck. If that's not you, prepare for endless awkward conversations.
Nerd dudes are not exactly known for game or being aggressive to pursue women. I am starting to think that nerdy girls might see a typical cold approach as frighting or weird.
The really attractive girls tend to be high on drama, they have a lot of beta dudes orbiting around them and propping up their ego. They really get into the culture to be admired by others and they come off snooty.

I managed to pull two girls from the last comic-con / anime-con i went to. Both hit me with the late boyfriend reveal. I think its because they generally are not aggressively approached. The guys hanging around them kinda show up with the friend-zone tag already on. So, you walking up and looking to date them will not compute right off the bat.

If it's a two day or three day con, you go to the after parties or throw one.

It is possible to run up and spit some tight game, but it's hard to pull a Inoue Orihime away from the spotlight of all that nerd adoration.

I guess I really didn’t think about it like that haha I don’t look nerdy at all. And I know the whole groups of guys I would just lose my mind at the neediness I would get coming off them! Thanks for the post bro! Such a ton of things I didn’t even consider when trying to go game at one of these events!
