Alright, so, in a group of say 3+ friends, I seem to do fine in conversation. Honestly, it's probably because other people come up with topics and then I can chime in with my jokes and bits of the conversation.

When it comes to one on one conversation, I can't seem to come up with any topics. Does anyone have any advice on how to overcome this? It's especially a problem when the other person isn't particularly adept at starting conversation as well.
