Just a light playful tease you can do when inviting a girl to something, such as a party, concert, etc. Works well in a very small group chat when you're also inviting other people, although a 1 on 1 convo works, too. Obviously this is super subtle and barely a neg, but it's still a fun way you can add a little humor and pique her interest.

Group chat example:

You: Hey guys, there's a party tonight at [location]. Getting there around [time]. Be there or be square

She'll either confirm she's going, show interest without confirming, or not reply right away. Either way, say "wait, just got word that it's cool kids only. sorry [girl's name]."

This elicits a positive response because:

  • By telling her she can't go (even though your obivously joking), it makes her want to go more.

  • You're telling her she's not cool, and she wants to be cool.

  • Shows you have a sense of humor, which exhibits value.

If she confirmed she's gonna go, she's less likely to bail. If she showed interest, or didn't reply, she's more likely to go. Not that you care if she doesn't show up.
