I consider your issue two separate but related issues.

However given your current GF tried to set up a date behind your back, you could do the same with this other girl without being less moral than her. I use the term less moral, as opposed to moral, because 2 wrongs don't make a right. You could be the bigger man here. There is more than one way to handle this.

You ask the girl on a date and keep it between you and her and do what you can to not allow your GF to find out. If you can manage that, you can see if new girl has feelings for you too, without risking your current relationship theoretically. New girl may turn you down simply because you are friend zoned or, because she knows you have a GF.
You break up with your GF because you are not really happy with her, then ask new girl out. Its still no guarantee, with the new girl. And if it doesn't work you may or may not be able to get back with her, depending on her reaction.

First I would advise you go beyond looks and ask yourself which of the two is truly the better fit for you. Given what you know about them both. If the other girl is as attractive as you describe, she is probably dating multiple guys and you will have to compete with them, and that's not even considering the idea that you are friend zoned. However, if she has feelings for you too, you may not be friend zoned given you have been in a relationship.
