You said y’all were both trying to hookup with her so that probably made your friend think it was just a sexual thing. Did you ever at any point communicate to your friend that you liked this girl enough to consider seeing her as something more than a hookup? It sounds like a miscommunication more than your friend trying to be an asshole and swoop in on your girl.

I get you. I just feel he should have ran it by me, or told me the day later. Shes not off limits, but its on him to clarify that with me dont you think? For all he knew I could have caught feelings. He told me weeks later after I told him we went on a few dates and it wasn't for me. Just feels dishonest to do to your boy.

How would he clarify it with you. He piped her literally 8 hours later ( she's for the team btw, nothing wrong just saying)
You were waking up going to work and she was going to his house. He has no idea you sealed the deal the night before , could he presume it? sure, but could he guarantee it ? Nah.
The time line here is critical, did you tell him that you went on a date(s) with her immediately after the date (like 1-2 days) or did you tell him all of that( you went on the dates ) on the same night that he told you he piped her.
O yea she's defs for the team I agree with that. And I'd have been cool with that. Love being Eskimo bros with my homies.
He could have texted me to clarify. He definitely new i banged her because he spent the night here and saw me make out with her and take her to my room. I told him well before hand that we went on a few dates as well.
