Jump into conversations with them with two things in the back of your mind:
1) What the arms doing? Am I sitting relaxed? Am I claiming an adequate amount of space for MYSELF, regardless of others being around? Are my arms shutting myself off? Am I looking confident?
2) Do I like this person’s character? Do they bore me, even if I could look at them all day? Would I be able to tolerate them on a drive where I can’t just stare at her all day?
When I sparred back in taekwondo, you know what the biggest factor was in determining who was gonna win a match? How confident the other person looked. If they looked like they were walking around their house, they’d be more likely win, if they look like they walked into class after being bullied 30 minutes before class and shoulders were slumped or they couldn’t maintain eye contact, they were sure to lose.
Dating is a head game. Be confident BEFORE going into it, don’t get confident as you spar. If you were unconfident in front of the opponent before starting, you won’t become confident during, even if kicking their ass. The headspace, the mindset hasn’t been set for it. You get lucky, you don’t show skill that way.
Be confident BEFORE hand. Practice minding your own business, if you see them walk into class don’t suddenly get nervous. Return to the lesson, shut your brain up about girls. The less you can think about girls when you think about girls, the better you’ll be with girls. Takes the pressure off
