Any tips for shorter guys at parties/social gatherings?

If you are worried about something pertaining to your body, being too short, too tall, going balding, too fat, too skinny, you'll more than likely project those emotions somehow and people will pick up on that. You can be more charismatic, talk louder, try to be funnier, whatever, but you're still going to have the unresolved issues.

All of the techniques you mentioned will definitely make you APPEAR more confident but in order to truly BE confident you have to come to terms with your height. Love and accept yourself for who you are. If someone has an issue with you being 5'7", are they really worth your energy? Fuck no.

Wear shoes/boots that make you taller and be better looking than your friends. It's not enough to be "in shape," you need to set yourself apart.
