I dunno, I don't know what's "normal" so I don't really know if not having text convos with her is weird or not.
In short, I just want her to be comfortable with me as much as possible. Should I try and initiate more converaations via text, or should I just continue use texting as a medium for "meeting up?"

Depends what you want out of the relationship.
From what I've read here you're making an attempt at seduction of some sort, so only use texting for meetups.
If you want a highschool-esque date your friend scenario, get to texting convos. But that's not really ideal.

What's wrong with what you are doing? I do the same. It's known to people I know I don't have text convos, they deal with it.

This is the way I prefer to keep things as well because the irregularity with which most people (guys or girls) answer their texts makes having any sort of conversation difficult and frustrating.
