The date was fine but it was meant to be a casual thing I had no intention of introducing this random girl to my parents. I go out of my way to keep my parents away from my social life and I would never introduce a girl to them unless I was dating her for a while. Just so cringe I can't think straight

I think best is to just play it cool maybe even talk to them first and tell them how you feel. It was kinda awkward meeting you there with my date it was the first time we met. Atleast thats how i would handle the situation. Dont worry so much buddy you got this.
