I've had a bad case of oneitis with one of my best friends. I don't want to cut her out of my life but realize how important it is that I move on from her. I understand how tough this can be. "I don't know how to stop thinking about her", "She's the one", "I don't want to lose her as a friend."

Ask yourself this: After what you have been through, could you ever trust her as more than a friend? Could you ever trust her to love you as you have loved her? Or will there always be doubt in your mind? No matter how much you learn or change from /r/seduction, will you ever be able to think "this girl wants to be with me just as much as I want to be with her?"

I find myself thinking about this girl a lot. I've found that by just thinking "I could never trust her on that level that anymore" it allows me to find peace within myself, stop dwelling on what could have been, and remove her from my thoughts.

As /u/NobodyGoingNowhere said, "What's going to change in the future that's going to make her all of a sudden be attracted to me?"

TL;DR: Ask yourself, "Could I still trust this girl as anything more than friends, or would there be doubt?"

Not sure if this is the correct subreddit or if /r/howtonotgiveafuck would be more appropriate. Just trying to help.

EDIT: As /u/NobodyGoingNowhere said, "What's going to change in the future that's going to make her all of a sudden be attracted to me?"
