Background 22 Year old, with crippling social anxiety, low self esteem , shit tier level of experience with women. Few lays on and off throughout the years nothing impressive. 5'9 Decent body type muscular, speech impediment + lisp& lazy eye
So after reading up for years I have decided that it is time to put myself out into the world and escape the mental prison I have put myself into. Resolving myself to talk to women whenever the opportunity presents itself. I was walking into the gym and went to the counter to scan my card, she was ahead of me telling the girl that works there she had a two weeks guest pass and the interaction goes as follows

Shades: I take it this is your first time here
HB: No Its my second
Shades: I can see that (with a cheeky smile)
HB Shut up haha I went to planet fitness before here
Shades: Planet fitness isnt a real gym
HB Laughs
At this point we were both going into the locker room and we exchanged names and moved on with our workouts ( i know i should have went to get her number then)

I finished my workout but something was bothering me so I decided even though it wouldnt come off as confident as it would have I decided to get her number before I left. As I am going to leave I stop by her machine

Shades: Hey listen I enjoyed our previous conversation I think your fucking attractive and I wasnt going to leave without asking for your number
HB: is that so ?
Shades: fucking Right it is as I look into her eyes with the same shit eating grin
Her: Okay, by the way where are you from ?
Shades: XYZ how about you
Her XYX too, lower part
Shades: Nice your name is pretty unique is there a particular story behind it ?
Her: explains story
Shades: Thats nice anyways I have to run put your information into my phone. Have a good one

This was a Thursday I Texted her on Monday evening

Hey this is shades, let me know when you're free this week and we'll grab a drink"
No response.
