I went out to area dance club tonight. I didn't feel like it as i had a sore throat, runny nose. Both my eyes were bloodshot. But i pushed myself out there. I got to the club earlier then usual I not sure of the time because i did not bring my phone. The club is about a 5min walk from my appartment. Once i got in the club i bumped past two girls, they were looking for a taxi so i just brushed on by. I entered the club payed to get in and then walked over to check in my coat. The coat check lady was cute and she started talking about how much it cost. i then pulled out the exact change of what it cost. She then rambled on about something, i guessing how i did not have enough to tip her. I then walked over to the bar got a beer and went back and threw in some change. Looking around there was not many people there mostly were at the side booths. There these round tables surrounding the dance floor so i took a seat and drank my beer. Some girls started to dance, i thought about going up there. But then decided not too since they were probibly going to stop and go back to their table, which they did. I finished my beer got another. I looked over at a couple who walked into the club they took a seat at a table next to me i kept taking glances at them, thinking maybe one day it will be me. After my second beer the club started to get going there was a bit of a crowd on the dance floor i got up and danced. I kinda moved through the crowd dancing having a good time. I got dancing with a couple groups but eventually just kept dancing. The night continued i mostly just danced by myself. Near the end me and a girl kinda hit it off. But her friend said they had to go and they left. I left shortly after. Looking back i should really start to talk to people when i first get into the club and maybe try dancing less. three girls i just kinda shot glances at the whole night but did not really say much. One of the girls i offered my hand to dance but she politely shook her head and kept dancing. Although i did not really talk too much other then introduce myself to one girl. I had fun. But next time i feel i should push myself to engage more. I wish it was saturday night every night. Another week till i can try more stuff again.
