Going as a couple to a wedding is usually pretty far down the line of a relationship. It's way closer to the proposing marriage end than the first date end.

Well what do you want to do? Taking her to a wedding is better than not taking her out at all. I'm just concerned that she might reject the invitation. Remember that many women spend their whole lives fantasizing about a wedding and it's a high pressure environment, even for guests.

Initially this sounded like a 'how-to' guide to maintaining a relationship from date 1 to wedding (after which, the great unknown). But as said before, don't take your date to a wedding. Unless its someone you both know, you will get questions from friends and family about who you've brought.
Wait until you know each other well enough and have been going out long enough for people to know what's up. It'll save some awkward conversations (depending on how social you are)
