I (17m) have never asked a stranger girl’s number or snap. They’re either at my school or some other places I go to regularly so it’s easy to get their socials. But today I saw a girl at a roller coaster line and wanted to shoot my shot. she was in front of me but we’ve had about 3 eye contacts meaning she turned around and caught my eye 3 times. A guy approached this girl ( I think he was dared by his friends) and he did very well but idk if she gave him her snap. He was shorter than her. She was fit and sassy and at a roller coaster line so I went for it. After all, what do I have to lose, right?

Now, I know everything about this encounter is wrong but I just wanted to get comfortable with rejection. I went there didn’t even drop a pick up line and said “hey, can I have your snap?” Boldly. She said “no!” By the same tone I asked her and I turned around to my family and her to hers. Even though I expected it, it was hard to just hear her say no. It ruined my day. I just got motivated to make everything in my life right. Body, skin, hair style blah blah blah.

Thoughts? Anything will help.. maybe how should I try this another time?? Or should I do a pick up line first?
