This is about a girl who gave me an ultimatum last night, and my reaction. I'm still not sure if it worked. I've been dating her for a little more than a month. We see each other usually once or twice a week. We have some dinner and great sex and everything is comfortable. She knows that I am meeting/dating other women. She knows I don't have a problem with her meeting/dating other men, but she's not in to dating multiple people. So last night she says to me "I don't want to be your girlfriend. I like the relaxed way things have been going." And in the same breath says "But I don't want you dating any other women anymore because I am not dating any guys." My jaw dropped. I really didn't like having my choice restricted like that and as the title suggests I felt like she "check mated" me. After some tense silence I told her that I understood and I needed some time to think about that. I told her I was going to leave and she begged me not to. I went to a bar near my house and had a great night. Two #-closes and a k-close after last call. That put things back in to perspective for me. The girl I left was texting me all night asking me to come back and saying she was sorry. The question is: Do I drop this girl or do I refuse to change and see what happens?
