Hey guys this is my first FR after lurking around in here. So me and my friends were supposed to meet later in the day to watch a movie and hang out and what not. I decided to go to school and study in the mean time but passed through Starbucks and to get some hot chocolate. I walk in and check my surroundings real quick. I get in line and look around once more me see this chick sitting down with earphones and reading a book in my head I'm like "this is going to be hard". We both catch each others eyes for a second and then pull eye contact. I order my hot chocolate and wait in another seat because I couldn't gather the balls to sit with her the first attempt. When my hot chocolate is ready for pick up I stand up and go for the counter and see someone else taking the seat I was in first, I was like "damn, I guess its now or never" and approach the chick with "excuse me is this seat taken" she just nods her head to say no. I sit down. By the time I think of talking to her, she's back to listening to music and reading. I thought I missed the chance so I just pull my phone out. Times is running out fast and I can feel the anxiety building, after looking at r/seduction for a minute or two I let go of all the bs and just go for it. I ask what she is reading, and start the conversation from there. I ask her name and I tell her mine and here's the worst part; I shake her hand in an attempt to score some kino. Needless to say we talk for around 30-40 mins with some awkward pauses in the middle and I tried my best to fill them in. I mention that I need to go, so I tell her she should give me her number so we can hang some time, she pulls out her phone and I suggest that we exchange phones because its faster and now we have each others phone numbers. She also says its time for her to go so we both walk out and continue talking until we finally meet our fork in the road, this I my last chance for kino so I go for a hug and she hugs back.
