I have been reading this subreddit for about 2 weeks and wanted to test my newly acquired wisdom at a party last night. I had a wingman who didn't really want to initiate the approach sequence so it was all on me to showcase my game. I had my eye on a hb7 who had tremendous energy floating around her(she was like the only girl dancing like nobody's watching) and she had a hb5 friend with her. As a guy who never really danced before it was almost impossible for me to approach. After a couple of beers and reading my favorite motivational pick up posts on this subreddit, I went ahead and tried to match her energy with my bloody awful dancing skills. Turns out nobody was mad enough to dance with her before I showed up and I got a magical night with hours of sensual dancing and making out. That was probably the baldest move I have ever done. I learned that matching the girls energy on the dance floor is more important than actually dancing in style. I didn't even have to say a word to pick her up, my body language did the work for me. My confidence was high even though I knew I probably looked like a clown on the floor, and she was drunk enough to think I was dancing cool!

The real benefit of not talking with the chick was that I didn't have to chat with her friend where I may have said something stupid.
