Hey Seddit, this is my first post to Seddit (and Reddit in general). I just got a shit test an hour ago and I felt like I played it real well.

Quick back story: I live in Orange County. She moved from Iowa to Orange County in the summer for college (and is moving back next year). I've been in Chicago for the last week for fun and sent her a text on Friday calling a favor to pick me up tomorrow from the airport (I had done her a favor like this in the past so it's only fair). She agreed and was jealous I didn't invite her.

Tonight she hits me up:
10:30 PM ---
Her: So am I picking you up from the airport tomorrow!?
Me: Hey! I get into LAX at xxxx, I'm not catching a late flight after all. Does that work for you?
Her: Yeah thats fine! So Like be at LAX at xxxx??? Me: Yeah!
Me: By the way I bought you something today! Haha :)
10:46 PM ---
Her: Haha Omg really!? :) Me: Its something small but I know you'll put it to good use :) haha
11:02 PM ---
Her: Haha what airline are you flying so I know where to wait?
11:13 PM ---
Me: Good question. xxxxxxxx. 11:22 PM ---
Her: Haha okay!
11:26 PM ---
Her: Your paying my parking fee!

Me: Haha I don't think so. I bought you food last time!
Her: Okay. You can walk home then.
12:08 PM ---
Me: That's really cute. I'm going to miss that attitude when you move back to Iowa.

Her: Seriously though, you can walk.

Me: Listen, I wouldn't ask you to pick me up without paying for that and giving you gas money. That's expected and only fair, but if you have to act like that I don't mind asking someone else. Being standoffish isn't flattering.
Her: Omg relax child
Her: It was only a joke

Me: You know its easier to say sorry than pretend you were joking, right?
Her: I'm so terribly sorry!

Me: It's okay, I forgive you :) I'll see you tomorrow xxxxx!
Her: Okay good! See you tomorrow :))

I believe I did well. Four years ago I would have fallen flat on my ass and said something stupid or caved because I would be afraid of "losing her". Now I don't feel like I should even be worried about that. I go could on about my inner game changes but first I would love some feedback. What would you have done. If you need more background let me know.
