The article almost implies I might find myself in the circumstance where I’d have to wait 2 years just to have a date or hang out.
It just bugs me. It feels like there is always some Anvil that has to drop. And I know my perspective is selfish in some ways. But it just feels like my dating life always has to fucking suck.

You read a random article and get all riled up? Chill the f out bro, stick to the basics abs everything will works out in your favor. Fuck online dating, develop a great personality - wit, humor and conversation skills and just talk to people, the social distancing will eventually subside and you’ll find someone. If you’re anxious and if you have anxiety consider seeing a doctor.

Tried to rush it. Social distancing due to the Coronavirus seems frustrating, I read an article which said this social distancing thing could go on for two years. What bugs me is that I’ve basically lived most of my life distanced socially in some form from society, and this year I was finally going to make those changes.
So, my only option at this point in looking for partners is online. Which given my current track record, I might as well just give up if the only choice I have is online dating. A. Only bots respond. B. In 5 years of searching I’ve only met one person online and we didn’t connect.
I don’t want to feel entitled by bitching, but the only times I have ever had any success when it comes to meeting women is IRL. I’ve tried online on and off for 10 years and nothing works. I don’t have a face for it.
