I'll probably get downmodded for saying this but: 9's/10's often hold out for hot smart guys with money. Obviously this can be overcome with skills but it really makes achieving that last level more difficult. Also, if you aren't going to clubs/bars you are likely to see less 9/10's on average and therefore have less chances to interact with them.
I once sat down with an internet millionare in the VIP area of Skybar on the sunset strip. I talked to him awhile about picking up 10's and he told me that money did make a huge difference. He was a great looking guy had pretty good skills, but he said obviously once he got rich he was finally able to get the 10's. Girls would notice things like his expensive watch and shoes which are external displays of wealth that cue the 10's. When a 10 has any choice of guy they want, they can pick the hot guy with the $20,000 watch. So I would say that just understand what you are up against because you level of skill has to improve dramatically to compete in that arena. Of course working on your own life and generating more money for yourself is also a skill in it's own right.
I would say, be content with 8's and randomly bumping into the occasional 10 here and there. Work on your career and life to where you are making more money. Then the 10's will come. I doubt reading any more Brad P. and Gunwitch is going to make you start landing 10s regularly.

I'm not downvoting, I think your point is valid. But I support the community theory that ambition=success for most women. If you have solid ambition that lines up with a female's desired lifestyle, you are in.
Sinn, Style, and others discuss how you may not be an amazing musician yet, but if you are putting in legitimate effort, it is just as good.
Of course, that does align with your final paragraph nicely. Constantly work on improving yourself and your environment and the 10's will swarm.

meeks is definitely correct that many of the most attractive women are holding out for very attractive men or those with money or both. if you're in southern california or another overtly wealthy region, this is brutally true, with money, cars, and status symbols running the show with mainstream 'hot' girls.
if you aren't in the above category but you're trying to pull the women that only go for rich men, there's several options, the most effective being: lie about it. feign wealth or feign significant potential for future wealth. you're in law school, youre in med school, you're a writer for some shitty WB network show, you own a business, you're a professional surfer, you're on the UCLA basketball team but you injured your ankle, you're driving this shitty ford taurus because you just got in a wreck in your mercedes and it's at the bodyshop, you're staying in this crappy apartment because your condo is being remodeled (point out a random building downtown), whatever you say doesnt matter just make it something virtually impossible to verify anytime soon(which is just about anything). don't feel about about lying to the hottest chicks to attract them, women lie constantly: they wear makeup, pushup bras, get boob jobs, botox, and lie through their teeth about who they are and what they do to try and find and land the most attractive men. there's massive amounts of dishonesty in dating, if you're just looking to hookup casually and bang chicks, participate in the bullshit. as long as you can talk about it and you sound confident, it's believable.

Sure, but you're going to get major shit-tested on every one of those lies if she cares at all about your wealth.

I'm interested in how you built up your inner game.

NLP. I exercise and I practice pickup. When I feel particularly good, strong, healthy and confident, I anchor it. Then I use the anchors and positive affirmations to bring myself to that state and I build a closed loop into the affirmations to remain there. Within the affirmations I will put state associations with the things that normally take me out of alpha so that they now put me deeper into alpha. It's fun. I've been doing that for about 14 months and it's been pretty successful. It takes me about two to four weeks to make a fairly permanent change. First I identify my goals. Then I write the affirmations. Next I refine and then memorize them. After that it's time to start using them. Usually I am pretty disciplined for about a week or two, and I see big results. Then I get lazy, distracted, forgetful or busy and don't practice them and my old patterns come back with a vengeance. Then I realize what happened, get sick of it, and really buckle down with my discipline and commit to saying my affirmations. Soon they stick for realz and I only have to reinforce them once a week or once a month.

Wow. Thanks. I've just started with some anchors and affirmations. I knew about but never thought to do anything about my confidence. I was making it all too conditional and that's been limiting. If you could explain a bit more about the state associations, I think that would help. Or give an example.

Okay. The first time I used this I was just starting about a year ago. I was at a concert, on a dais opposite the stage. The music was amazing, the people in front of/below me were dancing, and the girls next to me were dancing and checking me out. I was working really hard on posture. Suddenly it all clicked. My good posture became effortless, I felt energized, happy, sexy, and confident: I was in state. I wanted to preserve it, and I didn't really know what to do but I was aware of anchors. I wanted something easy and accessible. Then it occurred to me, i should use a simple mudra like you see Buddhas or Hindu gods doing in statues. I touched my finger to my thumb and extended my other fingers and just focused on observing my state, and anchoring it to that mudra. Then for the next few days I any time I got into state I'd reinforce the anchor.

Thanks again. I'm going to try this. I really like that you looked at the situation and didn't give the situation all of the responsibility for your state. You recognized that how you felt came from you too, so, with that in mind, you found a way to bring that back from yourself.
